It's a scam, and not how these things work. Don't waste your time! I am embarrassed for Kevin McCarthy ("Mr. He was six minutes late for the call, by the way! LOL. He didn't ask me a thing about myself or my background. He said he understands, and we parted ways. After listening to a couple minutes of his sell, I told him I was only interested in the position suggested, and as an HR professional, I do not agree with a model where candidates pay-the company should pay in a search, not the candidate. He said that would be the job of the onboarders. I told him I was interested only in the position I was pinged about. I had a call with someone, and he started out by telling me he was going to explain the platform. As I was researching the company prior to my call, I found this list of reviews. I got a hit on my LinkedIn notifications which indicated I was a solid match for a position in my city for advisors with backgrounds just like mine. I was very happy to read these reviews prior to my call. Ironically, if Boardsi is looking for a board member to fix this broken business model, reach out and I'm happy to help put this company on the right track. Not really sure how this company exists but they have the model all backwords, I'd be happy to do a salary share if they successfully placed me on a board, but to simply pay for a black hole of nothingness (especially after a six minute call) is a massive scam. What company would ever charge a monthly fee to be listed on their site where employers are the ones looking for the roles? It's like if LinkedIn charged its users, then still serviced them ads and charged the employer.

Original post: I just had an "exploratory" discussion with the rep around leveraging their platform.

I assure you I'm a real person with a real interaction with Boardsi. EDIT: It looks like Boardsi has decided to post fraudulent reviews after mine (copying my text) in order to convince trustpilot to take my post down.
